About Us

Kathy Logsdon, MPT earned a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland in 2001.  She has practiced solely in geriatrics for the past 19 years, working in several skilled nursing facilities and in home health until starting A Better Way In-Home Physical Therapy, LLC in November of 2017. The company has slowly grown to meet local demand and now employs 4 additional skilled and compassionate physical therapists and covers a larger area including the 23112, 23113, 23114 and 23235 zip codes, among others.

What We Do We provide outpatient physical therapy to seniors with Medicare, but it is done in the patient’s home.  This saves them the time, expense and hassle of driving to the clinic and makes therapy more accessible.  We are certified Medicare Part B providers that specializes in geriatric physical therapy. We are not a home health agency, so the patient does not need to be homebound like they do in home health.   Our  visits are typically an hour long, 2-3 times a week and all the patient needs to get started is traditional Medicare or a Medicare Advantage PPO plan and a script from their doctor for outpatient PT.
